Daniel E. Olivier

Daniel E. Olivier is a transactional lawyer with many years of experience in all aspects of real estate law, land use, entity formation and general business law. He is one of the few attorneys in the Coachella Valley or Inland Empire with substantial experience drafting governing documents for both residential and commercial condominium and planned development projects. His governing documents for residential planned developments and condominium projects have been pre-approved by the California Department of Real Estate.
Additionally, he represents lenders and borrowers in all aspects of real estate financing, including providing legal opinion letters required by lenders. Mr. Olivier has also developed an expertise in commercial transactions as well as personal property security.
Mr. Olivier also has substantial experience representing land owners and developers in real estate acquisition, disposition, leasing, subdivision and development work. Further, Mr. Olivier has represented both private and public clients in redevelopment law. He has assisted in the redevelopment of four auto centers, several low and moderate income housing projects, as well as numerous shopping centers and other commercial projects. Recently, Mr. Olivier has undertaken representing developers in the burgeoning area of marijuana cultivation.
Mr. Olivier’s primary strengths are his work ethic, attention to detail, and, perhaps most importantly, his commitment and responsiveness to his clients. He was a long-time board member of the Desert Valleys Builders Association, and a well-known and respected member of Coachella Valley’s business and real estate communities.
Mr. Olivier graduated with honors from U. C. Berkeley in 1980, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1983.
